Egypt Hungary mulls more investment cooperation
January 20, 2010
Egyptian-Hungarian investment relations were discussed when the Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, met with the Hungarian ambassador to Egypt, Peter Kveck.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman and Vice Chairperson of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI), Mr. Osama Saleh and Ms. Nivin el-Shafei, as well as several officials from the Ministry of Investment and GAFI.

The meeting's purpose was to follow up on the outcomes of President Mubarak's visit to Hungary last October.

"The Egyptian side is interested in developing investment cooperation with Hungary in the fields of the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry, and industrial wastewater treatment," Dr. Mohieldin noted.

"Hungary is concerned with promoting its investment cooperation with Egypt in such fields as tourism, dairy products, livestock and fisheries development," Kveck said.
